We have been studying theoretical nuclear physics. In particular, the equation of state of infinite nuclear matter has been studies with quantum mechanical many-body variational methods. Furthermore, strongly correlated quantum systems such as liquid Helium 3, atomic mass formulae, and nuclear beta decays are also studied. These studies are applied to high-energy astrophysics such as investigations of neutron stars and supernovae.
